Chomsky's and Herman’s Propaganda Model reveal that there are many factors that influence the way the media's coverage is distributed. These factors include the ideological stance of the media and the direct targeting of particular groups of the population. The notion of newsworthiness is one that relies on standards for journalism and media-related cues. These criteria are frequently employed as a basis to guide news aggregators and news websites to choose stories that have the highest trustworthiness. Our understanding of the selection process is not complete despite these results. Future studies must examine whether audience perceptions of news cues can be related to these. The significance of newslength along with source credibility as well as news length are all worth investigating.
